Greetings from the Rector

 Our school has a dual history. Although the Budapest Business School was only created as recently as 1 January 2000, the origins of the three colleges constituting this new school can be traced back over a century. With about 20 000 students, ours is Hungary's largest business college. And we look beyond that. Our vision is to become a leading institution of higher education in business studies and related areas not only in Hungary but in other Central and Eastern European countries, too.

 We are convinced that by pooling the resources of the three colleges - the College of Commerce, Catering and Tourism, the College of International Management and Business Studies, and the College of Finance and Accountancy -Budapest Business School has a chance to play a leading role in Hungary and the neighbouring regions in creating a business school that prepares students for the demands of an ever changing labour market. All of our academic programmes have been accredited by the competent Hungarian authorities. We take pride in these programmes since they effectively combine theory and practice.

 Choosing from a wide range of courses offered by the Budapest Business School, our students may acquire a broad spectrum of theoretical knowledge and practical skills that will enable them to work for businesses or public organisations. They will learn everything that is necessary to embark on a successful career, maintaining high ethical standards, looking for innovative solutions, and demonstrating good communication skills in both native and foreign languages.
